趣味科学,探索神秘——我校外教课堂风采


我校外教课近日迎来了孩子们最喜欢的小组问答比赛和DIY环节,外教Brittney带领孩子们学习了温度的测量与实验。通过学习与体验,孩子们了解到测量温度时,触感、味觉,和工具温度计都可以帮助大家得到实验效果。

Our school have recently ushered in the children's favorite group quiz competition and DIY activity, our foreign teacher Brittney led the children to learn the temperature measurement experiment. Through learning and experience, children learn that when measuring temperature, our touch, taste, and instruments such as thermometers can help to achieve experimental results.

为了让同学们巩固所学知识,外教在带着大家进行了有趣的游戏复习。每个小组之间斗志满满,都积极举手回答问题为自己的小组加分,而大家的表现也可圈可点,每个问题大家都能用英语流畅又准确地作答。通过这个复习小游戏,孩子们既锻炼了英语的听说能力,又完成了知识输出,同时还加强了小组合作的能力与友好竞争的比赛观念。

In order to let the students consolidate the knowledge, the foreign teacher led the students to have an interesting review game. Each group was full of morale and they actively raised their hands to answer the questions to score points for their own group, and everyone's performance was also commendable. Everyone could answer every question fluently and accurately in English. Through this little review game, the children not only exercised their English listening and speaking ability, but also got an opportunity for knowledge output, but also strengthened the ability of group cooperation and facilitated friendly competition.

游戏过后进入了Project环节。首先外教给大家展示和讲解了温度计的制作步骤与注意事项,每位同学也都聚精会神地听老师介绍与讲解,都迫不及待地想要制作自己的小小温度计。

After the game, they entered the Project section. First of all, the foreign teacher showed and explained the steps of thermometer making and matters needing attention. Every student listened attentively to the teacher's introduction and explanation and couldn't wait to make their own thermometer.

外教讲解完之后,老师们为每位同学发了制作温度计所需要的实验材料,包括白纸、吸管、红色弹力绳,剪刀、胶棒和彩笔等,收到材料后,同学们都全心投入到温度计的制作当中。

After the foreign teacher's explanation, the teachers gave each student the experimental materials needed to make the thermometer, including white paper, straws, red elastic ropes, scissors, glue sticks and color pens, etc. After receiving the materials, the students devoted themselves to making the thermometer.

制作和装饰好温度计之后,老师要求大家在温度计的背面完成PPT上面的问题,绝大多数的同学在剩下的时间里完成了书写部分。这个环节有助于同学们加强对本单元所学习到的科学知识的掌握和巩固,而且还锻炼了自己的英语表达和书写能力。

After the thermometers were made and decorated, the teacher asked everyone to complete the questions on the PPT on the back of the thermometers. Most of the students completed the writing part in the rest of the time. This session helps students to grasp and consolidate the scientific knowledge they have learned in this unit, and also exercises their English expression and writing skills.

课堂的时间总是过得很快,大家在忙忙碌碌的制作和设计自己温度计的DIY 中度过了充实的一节课。所有孩子都完成了温度计的制作,每个人的温度计都设计得新颖又巧妙。孩子们在外语实践课上的表现积极,大家在全英的氛围中既学习了神奇的科学知识,又锻炼了自己的英文理解和表达能力,收获满满。孩子们也都满怀期待的等着下一节课的到来!

Class time always passed quickly, and everyone spent a full lesson in the DIY activity and designing their own thermometers. All the children completed their thermometers, each with a novel and ingenious design. The students performed actively in the foreign language practice class. In the English atmosphere, they not only learned magical scientific knowledge, but also exercised their English comprehension and expression ability, and gained a lot. The children are also full of anticipation for the arrival of the next class!
