4月22日上午,我校9名学生与美国夏威夷玛利诺学校高中部学生顺利开展了“云游学”活动。
On the morning of April 22nd, 9 students from our school and the high school students of Maryknoll School successfully carried out the "travelling and learning on the cloud " activity.
通过自我介绍,学生们不仅增进了相互之间的了解,而且从“当地人”的视角了解了两地的特色风景,增长了见闻。听到夏威夷小伙伴讲中文,我校同学们倍感亲切。
After introducing themselves, students not only got to know each other better, but also got to know the special scenery of the two places from the "local" perspective. The students from our school felt kindly toward their Chinese-speaking Hawaiian friends.
双方学生在环保问题上发表了精彩的演讲。学生通过丰富的图片,结合自己在环保问题上采取的实际行动,表达了他们对环保问题的理解。我校学生则通过制作画报的方式,绘制出了自己对“水资源缺乏”“低碳生活”“人与自然和谐共存”“生物多样性”“垃圾分类”等问题的看法。整个演讲过程图文并茂,生动活泼。
Students from both sides made excellent speeches on the issue of environmental protection. Students expressed their understanding of relevant environmental protection issues through rich drawing combined with their own practical actions on these problems. Students in our school drew their views on topics like "water resource shortage", "low-carbon lifestyle", "harmonious coexistence between man and nature", "biodiversity", "garbage classification" and other issues through making posters. Their personal opinion was vividly illustrated.
活动最后,双方学生进行合照,留下此次“云游学”的珍贵瞬间。在本次交流中,我校学生自信流畅的表达和认真好学的精神给玛利诺学校的师生们留下了深刻的印象。我校学生纷纷表示此项活动让他们不仅锻炼了语言、了解了文化,还收获了友谊,希望今后能够多参加这样的活动,做到学以致用。
By the end of our activity, students from both schools took a group photo, leaving the precious moment of "travelling and learning on the cloud". In this exchange, our students' confident attitude, fluent language skills and our earnest and studious spirit left a deep impression on the teachers and students of Maryknoll School. The students in our school said that this activity not only allowed them to practice the language, understand the culture better, but also harvest friendship. I hope that they can participate in such activities more in the future, so as to put what they have learned into practice.

I am very glad to have this opportunity to meet the students of Maryknoll School through the Internet. Although we are thousands of miles apart, but our enthusiasm for environmental protection is the same. I hope our small efforts can make a contribution to environmental protection. I designed my poster carefully. I believe that the students of Maryknoll School can also feel my seriousness and enthusiasm. I really like this activity.

This is the second time for me to participate in the virtual exchange activity with Maryknoll School. The theme of this activity is environmental protection, and the language requirement is higher than the last one. During the preparation of this activity, my language ability has improved. I was deeply impressed by the students' standard pronunciation and accurate dictation when they talked about environmental issues in Chinese.
