Travel Around the World - See How We Celebrated Our First English Carnival!

Travel Around the World——我校举办英语嘉年华活动


为了给幼儿营造一个充满快乐的英语学习氛围,激发幼儿学习英语的兴趣,我校举办了以“Travel Around the World”为主题的首届英语嘉年华活动。

In order to create a happy English learning atmosphere for children and to stimulate their interest in learning English, our kindergarten held the first English Carnival with the theme of "Travel Around the World".

小朋友们以一场活力十足的非洲草裙舞“Waka Waka”点燃全场,将场内气氛燃烧起来,台上热舞,台下的小观众们也随着音乐的节奏拍手鼓掌。随后,小朋友们分别表演了不同类型的节目,节目内容丰富,动静结合:有世界各国你好歌、各国手抄报展、世界国旗展、巴西世界杯展、世界美食展,以及美国迪士尼歌曲串烧。小朋友们用精彩的表演呈现了一场精彩的视听盛宴。最后,小朋友们以一首迪士尼歌伴舞“Hey, moon”,将全场氛围再次推向高潮。小朋友们大声齐唱,歌声悠扬,舞姿优美,表情投入,落落大方,充满自信。全体小朋友们都沉浸其中,美妙的歌声让人回味无穷。

Our lovely students took to the stage with their opening performance – African hula dance “Waka Waka”. The audience were suddenly ignited and immersed in their enthusiastic clapping to the rhythm of the lively dance. The following performances featured various forms on a consistent topic – travel among cultures. The kids showed how to sing American Disney songs and hello songs around the globe. They also staged a variety of cultural exhibitions, such as learning about national flags, demonstrating knowledge of different nations on hand-painted paper, reviewing the Brazil World Cup, and displaying food from different cultures. At last, it was the Disney dance “Hey, Moon” that bought the stage to a thrilling climax. It is without any doubt that the children intoxicated all by presenting a marvelous audio-visual feast with an array of remarkable performances.

本次英语嘉年华活动,做到了人人参与,人人有收获,每个小朋友都在轻松愉快的活动中感受到了英语学习的魅力,了解了各国文化习俗,开拓了国际视野,并在集体活动中学会了遵守规则、互助合作、文明观演。我校将继续发挥外语特色,充分组织活动,让孩子们浸润在生动的语言学习环境中,大胆开口讲英语,大声唱出英文歌,快乐学习,学有所得,为童年生活增添更多丰富而有意义的美好回忆。

The English Carnival places high value on full participation and the principle of learning by doing. As expected, every kid has had this rewarding experience of learning English. They learned different cultures, and continually heightened their sense of being in the international community. In addition, they grasped what it means to adheres to rules, and how to cooperate in a team. We will adhere to its “foreign language specialty”, and enrich students’ childhood experiences, by providing a favorable environment for them to speak, sing, and learn English.
