春发秋收，生长不息——我校外教课堂风采

四季更迭，冬的积淀、春的发芽、夏的生长最终都是为了秋的收获。在我校小学外教课堂里，有一群纯真的孩子，正像植物一样萌发和成长，走向属于他们自己的秋收与成熟。为了让孩子们学有所获，可爱的外教们创造着阳光雨露般的课堂。

With the change of seasons, the accumulation of winter, the germination of

spring and the growth of summer is ultimately for the harvest in autumn. In our primary school foreign teachers’ classrooms, groups of children are learning and growing like plants in spring, working for their own “autumn harvest” and maturity. In order to let the children learn, lovely foreign teachers create “sunny”classrooms.

书写课是雨，润物细无声。在外教们的耐心指引下，孩子们已由刚开始依赖样例示范，到如今能得心应手地独立拼写单词句子。就连最初倍感困扰的字母大小写、标点符号规范和字符缩写习惯，他们都已完全适应。一双双稚嫩的小手书写出整洁的维多利亚体，线条流畅，弧度优美而饱满，为未来的学习打下良好的基础。

Writing classes are the essence; it benefits everything else. Under the patient guidance of the foreign teachers, the children have changed from relying on examples to being able to spell words and sentences independently. Even capitalization, punctuation and abbreviations they initially struggled with have come to terms with. A pair of young hands writing in neat Victorian style, with smooth lines, beautiful radians and full structures, are truly impressive for it lays the foundation for their future study.

阅读课是风，让孩子们沉醉。他们总是兴奋地聚拢在外教们身边，听他们读着绘本，和他们一起或遨游在广阔的海洋世界、或融入到动物家族、或感受牛仔海盗们风俗的异同……接着再回忆、讨论、写和画，进一步捕捉信息，理解内容，体悟情感，内化知识。所阅读的绘本越来越难而深，而那一双双天真稚嫩的眼睛也在悄然发生着变化。

Reading classes are like the wind, let the children immerse in the topic. They are always excited to gather around the foreign teachers, listen to them read picture books, or travel with them in the vast ocean of knowledge, or blend into the animal families, or feel the differences and similarities between cowboys and pirates... Then they would recall, discuss, write and draw to further information, try to understand the content, experience the emotions and internalize knowledge. With the picture books getting more and more difficult and deep, and the naive eyes are also changing quietly.

拼读课是光，温暖而明亮，提供着源源不断的能量。孩子们对看图拼单词这一课堂环节兴致高昂。外教们通过精心设计的游戏，巧妙地将原本依赖灌输和机械重复的发音练习，转换成由孩子们自主思考、再通过“Sound it out”内化生成知识的课堂。看那一双双高举的自信小手，仿佛在说：太简单了，我一看就会了！

Spelling classes are like light, warm and bright, providing a constant flow of energy. The children showed great interest in the lessons of reading pictures and spelling words. Through carefully designed games, the foreign teachers skillfully transform the pronunciation practice that originally relies on indoctrination and mechanical repetition into a game where children can think for themselves and internalize and generate knowledge through "Sound it out". Look at the pairs of high raised confident hands, as if to say: It’s too simple, I got it!

春发秋收，生长不息。孩子们将带着本阶段的学习成果，在成长之路上勇往直前。而我们的外教课也将继续提供一片沃土，抚之以春风，沐之以雨露。

Spring is the root for the autumn harvest and growth. Children will take the results of this stage of learning onto the road to growth. And our foreign language courses will continue to provide a fertile soil to nourish them with spring breeze and rain.
